Sports & Recreation Centre

The sports and recreation centre is located near James College and the Exhibition centre and offers a diverse range of exercise and sporting activities. Access to the fitness suite is now FREE to all conference delegates and B&B guests.

70 station, air conditioned fitness suite spread over two floors.
Includes both cardiovascular and resistance equipment plus a range of free weights.
Newly refurbished changing rooms with accessible facilities. Lockers are free of charge.

3 sports halls of various sizes are equipped to host a wide range of sports including:

4 recently refurbished squash courts with a viewing gallery.

Outdoor Facilities

JLD Astro Pitch

A sand dressed, floodlit synthetic pitch enables play to continue in virtually all weather conditions, day and night. The playing surface is ideal for a range of sports, including football, hockey and lacrosse. An athlectics track is also available which surrounds the pitch.

Tennis Courts

6 recently refurbished tennis courts, 3 of which are floodlit and double up as netball courts

Basketball Court

A small external basketball court that is available for casual use and being upgraded

Grass Playing Fields- 40 acres of grass pitches consisting of:

8 football pitches
2 rugby pitches
1 lacrosse pitch
3 cricket pitches
2 synthetic cricket wickets

The site also offers a pavilion with team changing rooms; a first aid room; a kitchen with refreshment making facilities and a reception / function area.
